FamilyMart to open soon

Valdel Retail Private Limited, a group company of Valdel Group on Wednesday announced the launch of its first project-FamilyMart – the city’s largest one stop shopping, food and entertainment centre for the entire family from Diwali.

Addressing a press conference here, Valdel Group, Managing Director M J Shantharaam said that FamilyMart, located in JP Nagar would be a value shopping destination for customers which offered among other things food and entertainment besides supermarket and departmental store.

Spread across a four acre plot on the outskirts of the city, the supercentre consists of other facilities such as food court, an entertainment centre for kids, book store, music store, beauty salon and PhotoShop. FamilyMart is set up along the lines of leading super-centres in the United States. It had a competitive advantage in matters related to sourcing, merchandise planning, store management and operations from the rich experience of its strategic partner Suiwah Corporation Bhd of Malaysia, he added.
