Valdel is a family owned, professionally managed group focused on delivering value to each of its stakeholders through enterprises based on knowledge, people and service. The company has been promoted by Dr. M.R. Jayaram and Mr. M.J. Shantharaam.

Valdel Group has established successful businesses in the areas of Oil and Gas, Retail and Real Estate. The group has grown consistently building on its ability to leverage international partnerships and establish professionally run businesses.

The inspiration for the creation of Valdel Group is
Shri M S Ramaiah, a noted Entrepreneur, Industrialist and Philosopher.  He had the foresight to envision a huge leap in the demand for qualified professionals in various disciplines.  The Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) was founded in 1962 to give brilliant, motivated and committed students a conducive platform to pursue higher education and to realize their dreams and equip themselves to take on the world.

The yearning to provide an education of international quality in the national scenario continues, yet one can’t help but admire GEF’s growth, which has been remarkable.  As we enter the new century the trust has under its umbrella 17 institutions, which cater to various streams including Engineering, Medical and General Sciences. 

Today even as we miss our founder, his mantra still prevails – the determination to excel under all odds and circumstances.
