• 2000- Valdel Acquires Kvaerner ASA, Bangalore operations – Forays into Engineering business.
• 2002- S&B Engineers acquires stake in Valdel Engineers and Constructors.
• 2003- Valdel Forays into retail.
• 2004- L&T Acquires 50% stake in Valdel’s upstream engineering business.
• 2004 – Ventured in to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) with acquisition of UK and US Call Centers, divested its holdings in BPO business in 2006.
• 2006- JV with Divyasree for Multiple Real Estate Projects including SEZ.
• 2006- JV with Unitech for Development of malls and Business Hotels.
• 2007- Forays into Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, with a 50% consortium stake in 3 Marginal Fields with Prize Petroleum Co Ltd (A Subsidiary of HPCL).
