Valdel de-merged its Upstream Engineering division into a new company called L & T Valdel Engineering Pvt Ltd. This company which was incorporated in Oct 2004 is a joint venture between Valdel Investments Pvt Ltd and L&T Ltd, India’s largest Engineering, Procurement and Construction Company.

L & T Valdel with its business focused on Oil & Gas Sector, has become a fully Comprehensive Engineering and Outsourcing Centre offering Design Engineering Services covering Conceptualization, Front End Engineering Design, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Procurement Engineering and Project Management services for Oil & Gas Projects Globally. It has successfully executed more than 230 Wellhead platforms & 145 sub-sea pipeline projects worldwide.

Major clients include British Gas, Cairn India, Modec international, mustang international, L&T Group of companies and NPCC Abu Dhabi etc.
